Roots To Bloom Counselling

I design each therapeutic session with a deep focus on the individual, their family, and their unique needs.

about the Therapist

Tara YazdanI

(SHe/Her)
I have always been fascinated by the power and magic of childhood relationships and how they nurture growth and development throughout the lifespan. This curiosity continues to be the foundation for my work with children and their families today. Whether through the relationship within, or with our loved ones, I believe everyone can find the path forward and I would be honoured to accompany you on this journey.
I have been fortunate to consistently witness how my approaches support those I meet. I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, trauma and adverse childhood experiences (including abuse), as well as relationship-based difficulties and interpersonal challenges.
With a feminist, anti-oppressive, anti-racist and intersectional lens, I welcome clients of all gender identities and sexual orientations. I immigrated to Canada with my family as a child and believe strongly in honouring unique cultural and religious backgrounds. No matter the starting point, I will ensure that your therapy journey is unique to you and your needs.

Outside of Work

When I'm not working, you can often find me with my community, friends, and family. I love to experience new places, foods and cultures. I always look for opportunities to expand my knowledge and learning of this world we live in. My most treasured activity is being outdoors in nature with my family; I find this to be my happy place.
