Tara YazdanI
(SHe/Her)
Tara has long been captivated by the power and magic of childhood relationships and their vital role in nurturing growth and development across the lifespan. This enduring curiosity continues to shape the foundation of her work with children and their families. Whether exploring one’s relationship with the self or with loved ones, Tara believes that everyone has the capacity to find a path forward—and she is honoured to walk alongside clients on that journey.
With over 12 years of experience in community mental health, Tara has consistently witnessed the positive impact of her therapeutic approaches. She has supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences, including abuse, as well as those facing relationship-based and interpersonal challenges.
Grounded in a feminist, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and intersectional lens, Tara welcomes clients of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Having immigrated to Canada with her family as a child, she brings a deep commitment to honoring each person’s unique cultural and religious background. No matter where someone begins, Tara is dedicated to ensuring that their therapeutic experience is personalized and responsive to their individual needs.
