Monica Hinrichs
(SHe/Her/Hers)
Monica is a Registered Social Worker, Registered Art Therapist, and a CAST Sandplay Therapy Intern, bringing over 30 years of experience in community-based mental health settings. In addition to her clinical work, Monica serves as faculty and a clinical supervisor for art therapy students, supporting the next generation of therapists.
As a valued member of the Roots to Bloom team, Monica offers mentorship, consultation, and supervision to mental health professionals. She works virtually and is also available for parent consultations as part of her role with our team.
Monica specializes in trauma- and attachment-informed therapies for children, adolescents, and their families. Her approach integrates parent-child/teen art psychotherapy and sandplay therapy, and she is a certified Mentalization-Based Treatment for Adolescents (MBT-A) practitioner.
