about the Therapist
Stefanie Ly
(SHe/Her/Hers)
Stefanie is an Art Psychotherapy Professional who brings warmth, creativity, and lived experience to her work with children, adolescents, and families. Her journey with art therapy began as a young mom, using creative expression to connect with her children, nurture community, and care for herself while navigating the complexities of motherhood, anxiety, grief, shame, and personal growth. Over time, art became an essential part of her family's emotional language—a way to process big feelings, express love and gratitude, and regulate when life felt overwhelming.
Today, Stefanie supports clients who may share similar experiences and identities, including those who are:
Neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, OCD, Giftedness, and Learning Disabilities)
Grieving the loss of a loved one—whether a person, pet, or relationship
Trying to create space for themselves and learn new ways to self-regulate through creativity
Seeking to reconnect with their values or re-align with personal goals
Stefanie’s approach is person-centred, strengths-based, attachment-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming. She is committed to offering a judgment-free, compassionate space where clients feel safe to unmask, explore their identities, and heal through art. Her values—curiosity, compassion, and creativity—are woven into every session.
